Alongside her classical and operatic performing career, Ella enjoys teaching all genres of music and seeks a great deal of pleasure from her students making progress, developing vocally and emotionally.  She approaches teaching in a holistic manner, with her teaching firmly science-based, and believes in creating a sound and stable technical base through personalised exercises and detailed pedagogical work.  It is very important to her that she clearly communicates how the voice works, why exercises are given and which areas of the technique they address.  Ella creates a very safe environment for her students to grow and thrive musically and in their performing ability.

Ella runs a private studio on the Hampshire/Sussex borders and also teaches at a Surrey public prep school, where many of her students go on to gain music scholarships at some of the country's most prestigious public schools.  Ella's students have also gone on to gain places at some of the most reputable music colleges and performing institutions.
